I grew up in Michigan, the son of a police officer and a machine repairman. I joined the Army as an infantryman when I turned eighteen and saw a lot of the United States and various hot places worldwide. After a few years I got out and moved to beautiful Chattanooga.
I’ve been writing most of my life. I started writing fiction almost immediately after I learned to hold a pen, and I have a box full of terrible stories I wrote as a kid squirreled away somewhere in my house. I more or less kept up the habit throughout my life, and I always thought that I’d be a writer someday in the back of my mind. There came a point when I finally had to walk the walk. What better time than now, right? With that in mind I made the decision to start my career as a writer. My stories and my journal are what I have to show for it. I hope you enjoy them.
